Goku Dragonball basically tells the story of Goku's life, from birth to death. They start in Dragonabll when Goku searches for the dragonballs with Oolong and Buruma. Goku's strength gains rapidly throughout the series. In the Vegeta Saga, he learns the devestating Kaiouken attack. This attack increases the users power by multiples, but pressures the body, putting his life on the line. The Genki-dama is th strongest attack of all the one he learns. Gathering energy from every lving being near him, he could form one giant ball. He could concentrate, and reach out as far as planets. These to attacks were taught to him by the great North Kiaou. His most popular technique allowed him to have a MASSIVE increase in power, becoming a Super Saiya-jin [pictured above]. He first achieved this in the Freezer Saga, when Freezer killed his childhood friend, Kuririn. This anger pushed him beyond anything, forcing him to become a Super Saiya-jin Gotenks Gotenks is fusion dance result of Goten and Trunks. He has a great amount of power reaching SSJ3 himself. Fusions end up being quite arrogant, so Gotenks thought he didn't need to use his full power. This led him to copying Mr. Satan, with a number of moves that did nothing. His only useful move was the Super Ghost Kamikaze attack, where he spit out ghost and they blew up. It burt Buu, but Gotenks was absorbed, nonetheless. Buujin Buujin was one of the people in Bojack's group. He was fairly short, and not too tall. His very unusual ability was phsychic, however. A pchsychic net to restrain his enemies was his best way to handle a problem. Killed by Gohan. Bordock Bardock was the father of Goku. He had been sent to Kunassa-sei to annhilate all life-forms, but one of the Kunassa-jins had placed a curse on him, to predict the future. Predicting Freezer's plan, Bardock sent his son to Earth, and went head on against Freezer, only to die trying. But his last vision was that of Super Saiya-jin Goku defeating Freezer. He is referred to in the Freezer Saga by Freezer, in flashbacks, and Freezer's stereotypes on the Saiya-jin. Bata Bata was the fastest member of the Ginyu Tokyusentai, the band of lowlifes that served Freezer. Bata was the second-strongest member, and normally teamed up with Jisu for some of his attacks. Bata was stunned by Goku, and has his throat broken by Vegeta. Broli Burori was the made Ultimate Super Saiyajin, thought to be the Legendary Super Saiyajin, that the Z Senshi encountered. Burori is rumored to have been bron with a powerlevel of 10000, but it is never proven. Burori tried to and wanted only to kill Goku. At birth, Kakorotto's crying had made his anger exceed anytihing, and he became a Super Saiyajin. His anger was controled by his father, who used a machine to dictate his movements. Burori ended up dying at the hands of the Z Senshi. Unable to defeat Burori on their own, they gave all of their powers to Goku, and Goku used the Chou Kamehameha to annhilate Burori. Chichi Chichi is the duaghter of Gyuu Mao, and she was quite a fighter in Dragonball. Gyuu Mao, being quite a fighter himself, taught Chichi a thing or two. She kept a boomerang hidden in her helmet. Chichi's fighting abilities are put to the test in the Tenkachai Budakai, when she fought against Goku. She lost, of course, but she put up a good fight. When Chichi grew up and married Goku, she became a little . . . backput, so to speak. Gohan, her son, was not allowed to be trained, given that she had developed a pet peeve against fighting. She often worried about Gohan, being an overprotective mother, when he went of to fight people who were planning to kill him. She didn't seem to worry about Goku that much, though. Dodoria Dodoria was the fat, pink, ugly creature that hung around Furiza. He was a coward, who enjoyed taking out those weaker then him. Harboring a powerlevel of around 20,000, he was killed by Vegeta after revealing to him the truth, that Furiza had destroyed Vegetasei, not a comet. Jisu Jisu was the strongest member of the Ginyu Tokyusentai, excluding Ginyu. He normally teamed up with Bata to perform his attacks or assaults. Jisu was short, with white hair and red skin, making him the odd-looking one. It could never be guessed by looking at him how powerful he was, and that his expertise was ki attacks. He was blown to bits by Vegeta. King Kiaou The god of the North Galaxy, where most of the action takes place in the series, Kiaou trained Goku and guided him a bit throughout the series. He taught him the infamous Kiaoken attack and Genki-dama. He lives on a small planet at the end of Snake Way, with tremendous gravity, 10x that of Earth's, equal to Vegetasei. In the Cell Game, Cell would have self-destructed, annhilating Earth, but Goku teleporte him to Kiaou's planet, saving Earth. Karin He was the person who lived in Karin Tower with Yajirobe, although "person" is stretching it, being that he was more of a cat. He grew the Senzu beans, which was quite a savior. Dr. Gero With the defeat of his Red Ribbon Army, Dr. Gero sought out to defeat Goku. Planting a tracking device on him in the Tenkachai Budokai, he monitored his rapid strength increase. His failure was to stop after he saw the Gnnki-dama at use, not abserving anyone on Namek-sei. He created four androids, or articial humans in Goku's absence Piccolo Piccolo appeared in DB after Goku killed his father, Piccolo Diamou. Piccolo was born to kill Goku, but he ended up becoming his friend, due to his inevitable friendship with Gohan. His rivalry and power was quite unmatched, until Vegeta came along. He harboured a number of powerful techniques, suck a the Renzoku Energy Dan, Makankosappo, Chou Renzoku Energy Dan, and other assorted ki attacks. Piccolo was Namek-seijin, half-son of Kami, son of Piccolo Daimou. He sacrificed his life for Gohan in the Saiya-jin Saga, and saved Gohan a number of other times, due to the bond he had formed with him during the one-year period he trained him. The powerlevel of is had had many durastic jumps. First, when he fused with Nail in order to attain the strength needed to defeat Freezer. After that, he fused with Kami-sama to gain the strength needed to destroy the androids and Cell. Polunga Polunga was the huge, muscular, genie-like dragon that manifested the Namek-seijin dragonballs, and granted the life of Kuririn, Yamucha, Tenshinhan, and Choatzu after the Chikyuusei dragonballs no longer could. Rikum Rikum was big, hulking red-haired member of the Ginyu Tokyusentai. He was the biggest, and most muscular, but he was the second-weakest, of the five. He was arrogant, and didn't have a very high IQ, but he was powerful, knocking Vegeta, Gohan, and Kuririn out. He was stunned by Goku, and blown to bits by Vegeta. Taurus Taurus is the main villain the The World's Strongest. He protect's something known as the Tree of might, hence the English title. It is never explained why Taurus looks so much like Goku, although fans say it is because he is Goku's brother. Vegetto Vegetto is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta using the Patorra Earrings, notto be confused with Gogeta. His strength was huge. He was to the Z Senshi was the Z Senshi are to ordinary people, like Bra. His power is so unimaginable, he may not have to have gone SSJ, but have only done so to show off. He would have defeated Buu, had he not been absorbed. King Vegetta He raised the Vegeta we know, and was against Freezer taking Vegeta from the beginning. Rebelling against Freezer seemed to be his only choice, but that resulted in his death. Yajirobe Yajirobe was the messanger in Karin Tower. He handed out Senzy beans. He was a great dueler, and could defeat anyone on a sword fight of the equal powerlevel, or lesser level, but was a cowardly fighter. Even though he saved everyone's lives by cutting of Vegeta's tale, he had refused to fight the Saiya-jins, and train in the Pendulumn Room. Zarbon Zarbon was the caped soldier that followed Freezer around. He seemed bent on impressing him. Arrogant and cocky as always, Zarbon was lead to his death by Vegeta. | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
Gohan Gohan, being the son of Goku, was quite strong as a child. His power wasn't easy to find, though, being that Chichi didn't let him train. He had much hidden power, and, even with a great training, spells of anger seemed to be the only thing that could release them. And yet, even with those spells, Gohan could not be at full power. His power was finally reached while fighting Majin Buu, when the Dai Kiaoushin upgraded him to Mystic Gohan, surpassing that of even an SSJ3. Gogeta potential The second of Goku and Chichi, Goten was quite a fighter, as well. His excellent was noticed when Goten became a Super Saiya-jin at the age of 7 with no anger at all. It just happened. Half-Saiya-jins don't have the trait of Saiya-jin hair, but Goten wanted his that way, making him look much like Goku did when he was a child. Same look, same outfit, same hair, but Goten was taller. Goten proved to be a useful asset in the fight against the Bibidi's followers. Fusing with his best friend, Trunks, he made Gotenks, a warrior with a power to be reckoned with, reaching SSJ3. Bojack Bojack was the main villain from movie 9. He was a crafty one, but he wasn't that strong. Most of his ability came from the fact that he he led a tam of five, each capable of a number of things. He was easily defeated by Gohan, very quickly, too. Although he was weak, a lot of people like him, appearing in the only movie that fits into the Z timeline without plotholes. Bido Bido was the big hulking member of Bojack's group, the strongest other than Bojack himself. Killed by Gohan, also. Buruma If it weren't for Buruma, Dragonball probably wouldn't exist. She was the one who knew about the dragonballs, and knew about the wish. She, Goku, and Oolong went on a journey to find them in Dragonball, but, they didn't get their wish. Buruma matured into a bright young woman, with tons of innovativ,e and a lot of spare time, being that, throughout the series, she had 16 different hairstyles. She ended up marrying Vegeta and having two kids, Trunks and Bra. Babidi Son of Bibidi, who was perhaps the greatest sorceror ever, this person was responsible for quite that happened in the end of Z, possessing some very powerful beings. He was a dark mage, and used the powers of Vegeta and Dabura, two people under his control, to free the seal on Buu, and control Buu. His motive was to avenge the death of his own father. He made people "majin" just as his father did. Choazu Choazu is a great friend with Tenshinhan. He is a child emporer and eternal, also. This results in it being hard for his power to increase. He was quite strong in DB, but, as Z came in, he couldn't get too much stronger, so he sortta couldn't fight that well. Cell Cell was from a third timeline, programed to destroy Goku. He was sent back in time with DNA from many members of the Z Senshi. He absorbed Androids 17 and 18 to become Ultra-Perfect, but was defeated by SSJ2 Gohan, but not without killing Goku first. Cell had been built by Dr. Gero in a future timeline, a third one. He had been constructed with Goku, Furiiza, Vegeta, Gohan, Nappa, and many other's DNA. But he had to absorb Juunanagou and Juuhachigou to become completed. He killed Trunks, and came to the ucrrent timeline. Trunks had come from another future and was alive where he was. Cell had been in larva state for four years, and struck while they were weak. Piccolo got the information out of him, and Cell told Goku his only goal was to fight. It's strange how he turned out to be a villain. Doore Doore was the thick, tall, green, hulking member of Koolers page. He resemled the taller Garlic Jr., much. Doore was probably weaker than Sauza and the rest, although he may not have been. He made no appearance int he manga, like most of the movie villains. Freezer Freezer was the changeling whp had a stronghold on the Saiya-jin, but, fearing the rise of a Super Saiya-jin, he destroyed the planet, intending to leave only three Saiya-jins alive: Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditsu. His blunder was due to lack of knowledge, the fact that Bardock had sent his son to Earth to annhilate it. Kakorotto, Bardock's son, ended up growing up to be Goku, becoming the first Super Saiya-jin in 3000 years, defetaing Freezer. He survived, though. Salvaged by his father, Cold, he headed to Earth to destroy Goku, but was stopped by Mirai Trunks. He was sliced in half before laying eyes on Goku. Kooler Kooler was Freezer's brother. He had come to Earth to destroy Goku for killing Freezer. Kooler was quite strong, and came back from defeat from a star as Metal Kooler, only to be defeated Kooler was Freezer's brother. He had come to Earth to destroy Goku for killing Freezer. Kooler was quite strong, and came back from defeat from a star as Metal Kooler, only to be defeated again. Having one less form than Freezer, Kooler still harbored more strength. again. Having one less form than Freezer, Kooler still harbored more strength. Hercule ]Mr. Satan was the strongest, non-ki fighter on the Earth. His strength probably surpassed Kamesennin by just a slight bit. He trained his daughter as well, and Videl ended up surpassing him, although this is not noticed by him. He has a habit for naming punches and kicks special names, when they don't really do much. Mr. Satan was a bit of a fraud, and claimed to have defeated Cell, where as we all know it was Gohan. Pilaf Pilaf was always tying to get the dragonballs so he could rule the world. Goku had gotten them each time, so to speak. Pilaf was not strong himself, so he relied on Mai and other servants to do his bidding. He kept them in check with machinery. Pan Pan was Gohan's first, and only child. She was quite a fighter, and was responsible for much that happened in GT. Goten and Trunks would have gone in space with Chibi Goku, but Pan had the ship take off while Goten was off it, saying goodbye to Parisu. Pan also helped Goku take care of the evil miniature Shenlons. It is hard to believe, but some people think that Pan may have formed some sort of bond with Trunks while in space. Paragus Paragus was Burori's father, and he had an iron grip on his son. Burori ended up killing him, but Paragus once controled Burori with a machine, that also annhilated his anger towards him. Shenron Shenron was the dragon that manifested the Chikyusei dragonballs, and appeared in all the series for numerous wishes, including Kuririn's life when Piccolo Diamou took it, Kuririn's hair, Goku's life when Piccolo's Makankosappo blew a hole threw him, and other very important wishes. Trunks Trunks existed twice that we have seen him. Mirai Trunks came from the future to warn Son Goku of the Androids coming. He had a sword that he had received from Tapion. Chibi Trunks was born in the Buu Saga, and was unique, achieving SSJ naturally, at the age of eight. True it is, though, that Miria Trunks was stronger than Chibi Trunks being that Mirai Trunks grew up in a time of ar whereas Chibi Trunks grew up in peace. Trunks was a wierd one, and had some major character development in GT. He had the strange habit of mooning people. Vegetta Prince of Saiya-jins, he felt no pity and had no mercy when he first arrived. Killing Nappa for weakness, much like his father had killed countless royal servants. Surprisingly enough, Vegeta softened, married Buruma, and had to children, Trunks and Bra. Vegeta became an enemy again, as Majin Vegeta, who was stronger than SSJ2 Vegeta. He ended up going back to their side, forming Vegetto. Yamucha Yamucha was a very prominant character in Dragonball. He helped Goku, Buruma, and Oolong find the Dragonballs, and even fought in the Budakais. He always hung around with his kitty-cat, floating shape-shifter friend, Puar. How they met is a mystery to me. Yamucha had been expected to marry Buruma, and everyone had been surprised when it was Vegeta who Buruma had married. | ![]() | ![]() |
